John 14:6 - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Luke 18:13-14 - But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to
heaven, but l beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’ I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Ephesians 2:8-9 - "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast."

Prayer of Salvation - The "prayer of salvation" is the most important prayer we'll ever pray. When the Holy Spirit draws you to trust Jesus for salvation and as your way to have relationship with God, these its components are involved:

  • We acknowledge we are a sinner in need of a Savior.
  • We acknowledge that Jesus Christ is God come to earth, clothed in flesh in order to live the sinless life as a man that we cannot live; that He died to pay the penalty for our sins, so that we would not have to pay the penalty we deserve.
  • We ask Jesus to come into our heart, take up residence there, and begin living through us.
You can pray the following prayer right now to ask God to come into your heart so you can receive the new birth. Old things pass away and all things become new in Christ.

REPEAT THIS PRAYER

"Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I accept your offer of forgiveness through the work Christ has done on the cross. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I accept Jesus as my Savior and I receive His free gift of righteousness.
I invite Jesus to be Lord of my life. I thank the Holy Spirit to help me follow you and glorify you with my life.

In Jesus name I pray, Amen."
